Aaron Coates
Aaron is a director, playwright, actor, and co-artistic director of Trepan Theatre. He studied acting at Mount Royal College in Calgary and at Ecole Philippe Gaulier in Paris. His directing credits include: The Old Neighborhood (Rogues Theatre), Elephant In Zulu (CAOS), The Way of All Fish (Lunchbox Theatre), Iraq & Back (Ghost River Theatre), Refuge, Little Malcolm and His Struggle Against The Eunuchs (Dark Forest Theatre Company), The End of the Rope (Vertigo Theatre). Aaron’s plays include: Tin Soldier (Aitherios Theatre, London, UK), Matadora, La Mexicaine de Perforation (Trepan Theatre), The Frozen Limit (THEATREboom), and The End of the Rope (Vertigo Theatre), which was shortlisted for the Writers Guild of Alberta Award for Drama.
